# Volume Bot

Volume Bot is NadoBro's automated maker-volume strategy. It rotates a fixed USDT0 amount through a single Nado **spot** product with a `buy → wait → sell` loop. Every order is posted `post_only`, so you only pay (or earn) the maker fee.

The bot stops when cumulative executed volume reaches your target, when realized session PnL hits the stop-loss, or when you tap Stop.

#### At a glance

| Property           | Value                                              |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Markets | Nado spot products (KBTC, WETH, USDC, …) |
| Leverage           | 1× (spot)                                          |
| Order type         | `post_only` limit, both legs                       |
| Direction          | Round-trip buy → sell, one open position at a time |
| Per-cycle notional | Session margin (single configurable value) |
| Stop conditions | Target volume hit, session SL hit, or manual stop |

> Supported spot products are pulled live from Nado, so newly listed pairs become available without a NadoBro redeploy.

#### **The loop**

Each cycle:

1. **Place buy** — post-only limit at the bid.
2. **Wait for the buy to fill.**
3. **Hold** for the close timer (default 60 s).
4. **Place sell** — post-only limit at the ask.
5. **Wait for the sell to fill.**
6. **Check session limits:**
   * If `cumulative volume ≥ target`, stop with `target_volume_hit`.
   * If `session realized PnL ≤ −margin × SL%`, stop with `sl_hit`.
   * Otherwise, loop.

Every cycle pushes **2 × session margin** of executed volume into your stats (once on the buy leg, once on the sell leg).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://nadobro.gitbook.io/docs/strategies/volume-bot.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
