# Market Making Strategies

NadoBro's Market Making (MM) family is a Nado-native, inventory-aware maker engine that quotes continuously on Nado perps to capture the **maker rebate** and **spread**. The engine ships in four shapes one strategy with four modes, sharing the same risk preflight, fee model, and live dashboards.<br>

💡 **Why market-make?**&#x20;

> On Nado, takers pay 1.5 bp and makers earn up to −0.8 bp. Every round-turn a true maker captures **2.3 bp of edge before slippage** vs. a taker. The MM engine is built to protect that edge.

#### The four modes

| Mode | What it is | When to use |
| ------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **GRID** | Symmetric maker grid around an EMA reference | Calm, range-bound markets |
| **Reverse GRID (RGRID)** | Anchor follows fills + momentum-aware reversal | Trending pairs you want to participate in |
| **Dynamic GRID (DGRID)** | Auto-switches GRID ↔ RGRID based on realized variance | Set-and-forget on volatile majors |
| **Mid Mode**             | Pure `mid ± spread × level`                           | Clean maker quoting without soft-reset complexity |

#### Margin-denominated SL/TP

Stops are applied to **margin** (`notional / leverage`), not raw notional. This means leveraged sessions hit SL at smaller absolute drawdowns than a notional-denominated stop would, which is intentional. Your **actual max-loss number** is shown on the pre-trade card before you start.

#### Getting Started

1. Connect wallet via **Wallet** button
2. Go to **Strategies**
3. Choose Mid, Grid, R-Grid or D-Grid mode
4. Set parameters and capital
5. Tap **Start** and the bot handles everything else

***Note: Past results doesn't gaurantee profits. Trading can be very risky and you may lose your funds. Nadobro won't be held liable for any loss of funds.***

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://nadobro.gitbook.io/docs/strategies/market-making-strategies.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
